Jason Momoa to headline action-comedy Shots! Shots! Shots! for Universal

May 20, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

Now that he has finished splashing about in the surf with James Wan for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Jason Momoa is wasting no time in lining up projects to keep him busy, the latest being Universal Pictures action-comedy Shots! Shots! Shots!

Momoa has recently signed on for (deep breath) Warner Bros. murder-mystery The Executioner, the long-gestating Minecraft movie for director Jared Hess, Fast X, and Apple TV+’s Chief of War, but has added even more to his workload with the Matt Mider and Kevin Burrows (The Package) scripted action-comedy.

While specifics regarding Shot! Shot! Shot! are being kept under wraps, The Hollywood Reporter reveals that the film will be “a family-centric adventure that has tones of James Cameron’s True Lies, Liam Neeson’s Taken franchise and recent Paramount hit The Lost City.”

Momoa has proven that he’s as comfortable cracking wise as he is cracking bones, so let us know what you think about this news by heading to our social channels @FlickeringMyth…
