Marvel Snap trailer reveals new collectible card game for PC and mobiles

May 22, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Nuverse and developer Second Dinner have announced they will be bringing their brand new collectible card game (CCG), Marvel Snap, to PC and mobiles later this year.  This new CCG will be free-to-play and bring the entire Marvel Multiverse into a fast-paced card battler where players can assemble their dream team of Marvel characters.  Watch the new trailer below for a first look at the gameplay…

Marvel Snap will allow players to assemble their dream team of Marvel characters from a huge roster of heroes and villains, there’s over 150 different Marvel characters from Marvel’s rich 80 year history to collect and countless card art variants for the real enthusiast to discover.  There’s also more than 50 different locations to battle in the game with each battle randomly selecting three of them.

This intense player vs. player (PVP) fast-paced CCG introduces a new way to compete for the highest ranks by allowing players to SNAP and raise the stakes, this means there is plenty of opportunity for playing mind games and bluffing opponents.

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with the world-class development talent at Second Dinner and the cutting-edge global publishing of Nuverse to bring this innovative game to Marvel fans and CCG players alike,” said Jay Ong, Executive Vice President, Marvel Entertainment. “Seeing how our teams have been working together utilising our beloved Marvel characters and their stories, we know Second Dinner and Nuverse have all the ingredients to deliver a landmark video game.”

Ben Brode, Chief Development Officer at Second Dinner stated, “MARVEL SNAP is unlike any card battler ever made. We’ve worked tirelessly to ensure that the game is super deep for hardcore players, while remaining very approachable so everyone can jump in and have a blast.”

Marvel Snap will launch on PC and mobiles later this year. Android gamers can also sign up for a limited closed beta on Android devices by visiting MarvelSnap.com.
