Star Wars Jedi: Survivor announced at Celebration with reveal trailer

May 28, 2022 by Ricky Church

The Star Wars Celebration convention has revealed that a sequel to the hit video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be released next year as they released a teaser trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Watch the trailer below…

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will take place five years after Fallen Order and continues the adventures of Jedi in hiding Cal Kestis. Cameron Monaghan returns to voice and provide a motion capture performance for Cal as he travels around the galaxy to gain more allies and further develop his Force powers. The official synopsis reads:

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up five years after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order. Cal must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as he begins to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy. Accompanied by his trusty companion BD-1, Cal will meet and ally himself with an array of unique and interesting characters on his journey. Jedi: Survivor will expand on the series’ dynamic combat in new and innovative ways. In order to survive, Cal must learn new skills and grow his connection with the Force.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is being developed by Lucasfilm Games, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment. While an exact release date has yet to be announced, it will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC in 2023.
