Three Thousand Years of Longing teaser offers tantalising glimpse of George Miller’s new film

With the first trailer set to arrive this Friday, MGM has shared a brief first-look teaser for Mad Max director George Miller’s latest film, the fantasy romance Three Thousand Years of Longing starring Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton; get a glimpse at the madness here…

A lonely scholar, on a trip to Istanbul, discovers a Djinn who offers her three wishes in exchange for his freedom. What she wants is love, but can and should he grant it to her?

Three Thousand Years of Longing features a cast that includes Tilda Swinton, Idris Elba, Aamito Lagum, Burcu Goledar, Matteo Bocelli, Kaan Guldur, Alyla Browne, and Angie Tricker.

Three Thousand Years of Longing is set to premiere at Cannes ahead of a theatrical release on August 31st.
