Tim Drake to lead new ongoing Robin series from DC

June 19, 2022 by Gary Collinson

Spinning out of the pages of DC Pride: Tim Drake Special, DC Comics has announced the upcoming launch of Tim Drake: Robin, a new ongoing series from writer Meghan Fitzmartin (Batman: Urban Legends) and artist Riley Rossmo (Harley Quinn).

This kinetic, high-energy series pulls Tim center stage as a mystery over a year in the making takes shape. A new villain who’s been hounding Tim from afar decides to take things up close and personal, putting Bernard and everyone else Tim cares about in peril. All that and Tim finally carves out a corner of Gotham City just for himself, and sets up shop in his very own…murder-shack-boat?

Along with the main cover above from Richard Lopez Ortiz, the first issue will also feature a selection of variant covers illustrating Tim’s different looks over the years with the following:

  • One Year Later Era Variant Cover by Jorge Jimenez
  • 1:25 Debut Era Variant Cover by Sweeney Boo
  • 1:50 Young Justice Era Variant Cover by Dan Mora
  • 1:100 Teen Titans Era Variant Cover by Jamal Campbell

Tim Drake: Robin #1 will go on sale on September 27th.
