Tim Burton’s Addams Family spinoff Wednesday gets a kooky first trailer

August 17, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Netflix has debuted the first trailer for Wednesday, the upcoming Tim Burton-produced Addams Family spinoff. The supernatural mystery series stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams and focuses on her time as a student at Nevermore Academy as she navigates her emerging abilities and new relationships; watch it below…

The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley, alongside a cast that also includes Gwendoline Christie, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Georgie Farmer, Naomi Ogawa, and Moosa Mostafa.

Wednesday is coming soon to Netflix.
