Trailer for Disney+ documentary Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return takes us behind the scenes of the Star Wars show

August 22, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

The journey to get Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi to the screen was as arduous as a trek across the deserts of Tatooine, but it’s fair to say that the Deborah Chow directed limited-series, which brought back Ewan McGregor as Ben Kenobi and Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, was among the streamers very best Star Wars output.

Now as we all sit like meditating Jedi, patiently awaiting the announcement for further seasons of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Disney have released a trailer for the documentary Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return, which will take a look behind-the-scenes of the years in the making show, with all involved talking about what Star Wars and the character of Obi-Wan means to them.

Experience Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return. This special explores the return of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker to the screen, as well as Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen to their classic roles. Director Deborah Chow leads the cast and crew as they create new heroes and villains that live alongside new incarnations of beloved Star Wars characters, and an epic story that dramatically bridges the saga films.

Set to premiere September 8th to celebrate Disney+ Day, you can check out the trailer here…

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi featured a cast that included Ewan McGregor (Ben Kenobi), Hayden Christensen (Darth Vader), Joel Edgerton (Owen Lars), Jimmy Smits (Bail Organa), Bonnie Piesse (Beru Lars), Moses Ingram (Reva Sevander), Rupert Friend (The Grand Inquisitor), Sung Kang (The Fifth Brother), Benny Safdie (Nari), Simone Kessell (Breha Organa), Kumail Nanjiana (Haja Estree), Rya Kihlstedt (The Fourth Sister), Flea (Vect Nokru), Vivien Lyra Blair (Leia Organa), Indira Varma (Tala), Grant Feely (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Roken), and Temuera Morrison (Clone Trooper).
