Batgirl video teases a festive action sequence from the aborted DC movie

With the movie now locked away deep within the vaults of Warner Bros. Discovery following its shock cancellation last month, it’s highly unlikely that we’ll ever get to see the cancelled Batgirl movie and will instead have to imagine what might have been, based upon the few official promotional shots and the various set photos and video from the film’s production.

Adding to that however, we now have a brief glimpse of footage from a festive action sequence shared by Batgirl star Ivory Aquino, which shows Leslie Grace’s caped crusader (or rather Grace’s stunt double Emely Cartagena) making a grand entrance during a festive gather as she leaps from a roof with the help of a giant Christmas tree; check it out here…

Batgirl was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Bad Boys For Life) and featured Leslie Grace (In the Heights) as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, J.K. Simmons (Justice League) as Commissioner Jim Gordon, Micheal Keaton (The Flash) as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Brendan Fraser (Doom Patrol) as Firefly, Ivory Aquino (When They See Us) as Alysia Yeoh and Jacob Scipio (Bad Boys for Life), Rebecca Front (Avenue 5), Corey Johnson (Morbius) and Ethan Kai (Killing Eve).
