Maika Monroe and Jake Lacy’s backpacking trip takes a dark turn in Significant Other trailer

Ahead of its world premiere at New York Comic-Con this October, Paramount+ has released a poster and trailer for the upcoming thriller Significant Other.

Written and directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, the film centres on Harry (Jake Lacy) and Ruth (Maika Monroe), a young couple whose backpacking trip through the remote Pacific Northwest takes a dark turn. Check out the trailer below…

SIGNIFICANT OTHER follows a young couple Harry (Jake Lacy, “White Lotus”) and Ruth (Maika Monroe, “It Follows”) who take a remote backpacking trip through the Pacific Northwest, but things take a dark turn when they realize they may not be alone.

Significant Other streams exclusively on Paramount+ from October 7th.
