Roar Uthaug’s Troll announces Netflix release date on mountainous new poster

Netflix has unveiled a brilliant new poster that announces the epic Norwegian action-adventure film Troll will launch globally on December 1, 2022.

Directed by Roar Uthaug (Tomb Raider, The Wave)and staring Ine Marie Wilmann (Furia) in the lead role alongside Kim Falck (Hva Hvis?), Mads Sjøgård Pettersen (Cave) and Gard Eidsvold (Wisting), Troll sees the Norwegian capital city, Oslo at risk of destruction after a gigantic creature thought to only exist in folklore awakens from its slumber after a thousand years.

Deep inside the mountain of Dovre, something gigantic awakens after being trapped for a thousand years. Destroying everything in its path, the creature is fast approaching the capital of Norway. But how do you stop something you thought only existed in Norwegian folklore?

Troll will launch globally on December 1st, 2022.
