Netflix goes Half Bad with trailer for YA fantasy series The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself

October 14, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Netflix has released a trailer and images for the YA drama series The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself.

Based on Sally Green’s Half Bad book trilogy, the series follows teenager Nathan (Jay Lycurgo), the illegitimate son of the world’s most dangerous witch and the Devil, as he tries to discover who he truly is with the help of Annalise (Nadia Parkes) and Gabriel (Emilien Vekemans), while caught between the battle of two warring clans.

Sixteen-year-old Nathan (Jay Lycurgo) is the illegitimate son of the world’s most dangerous witch. Fearing he will follow in his father’s footsteps, Nathan is closely monitored throughout his childhood. As the boundaries between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ fray, Nathan – along with mischievous Annalise (Nadia Parkes) and charismatic Gabriel (Emilien Vekemans) – will soon discover who he truly is.

The series also stars Isobel Jesper Jones, Paul Ready, David Gyasi, Kerry Fox, Liz White, Karen Connell, Fehinti Balogun, Misha Butler, and Roísín Murphy.

The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself arrives on Netflix on October 28th.
