Rosario Dawson keeps it vague on Hayden Christensen’s Star Wars: Ahsoka involvement

June 20, 2023 by EJ Moreno

Rosario Dawson is keeping it tight-lipped about any major Star Wars: Ahsoka cameos, but she is saying a lot by not saying a lot.

In a recent interview with Total Film, Dawson opened up about her upcoming Disney+ series, and she was asked straight out if Hayden Christensen would appear as Anakin Skywalker.

Dawson tells the outlet, “It’s pretty remarkable and exciting. We were teenagers, and then I saw him right immediately afterwards go into this universe. I never could have fathomed that I would have had any part of that besides just being a fan of his and being really proud of him.

“It’s just been really cool that at this moment, I’m joining it, and he’s been able to come back [in 2022’s Obi-Wan Kenobi] and also get embraced by the Star Wars family in a way that I think is much deserved. It’s definitely one of those things that would be super cool if he was [in Ahsoka], but I’m just really grateful that we’re in the same universe.”

Dawson will obviously not confirm the story, but there’s also no way she could hide her excitement about working with Hayden Christensen. The actor recently made his return to the galaxy far, far away for the first time since Revenge of the Sith with his appearance in Obi-Wan Kenobi, a significant moment for the Star Wars fandom.

Seeing Anakin in live-action with his protegee Ahsoka could be a truly iconic moment. We will have to find out later this summer.

Ahsoka stars Rosario Dawson as the titular Ahsoka Tano, Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, David Tennant as Huyang, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth and Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati.

Star Wars: Ahsoka premieres on Disney+ on August 23rd.
