Deadline reports Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) has been cast in the heist thriller Eeanie Meanie from 20th Century Fox. The film will be directed by Shawn Simmons (Wayne).
Eeanie Meanie follows “a former teenage getaway driver who is dragged back into her unsavory past when a former employer offers her a chance to save the life of her chronically unreliable ex-boyfriend.”
Simmons has written the script with Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Eeanie Meanie will likely premiere on Hulu for streaming.
Weaving has been most known for the horror comedies Ready or Not, The Babysitter and its sequel, Nine Perfect Strangers and Bill & Ted Face The Music with her most recent role in the opening of Scream VI.
