Jodie Comer battles to survive an environmental apocalypse in the trailer for The End We Start From

November 30, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

Signature Entertainment has released a full trailer for the Jodie Comer-headlined survival drama The End We Start From, which features the Killing Eve star in a career-best performance as a new mother attempting to navigate her way home against the backdrop of an environmental disaster.

Directed by BAFTA winner Mahalia Belo (The Long Song), The End We Start From also stars Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game), Marc Strong (The Kingsman: The Secret Service), Katherine Waterston (The World To Come), Joel Fry (Cruella), Gina McKee (My Policeman) and Nina Sosanya (His Dark Materials).

Find out what we thought about The End We Start From by reading our review here, and then check out the trailer below…

When an environmental crisis sees London submerged by flood waters, a young family is torn apart in the chaos. As a woman (Jodie Comer) and her newborn try and find their way home, the profound novelty of motherhood is brought into sharp focus in this intimate and poetic portrayal of family survival.

The End We Start From releases in select theatres in the U.S. on December 8, before expanding nationawide in January, and is out in the U.K. from January 19th, 2024.
