According to The Hollywood Reporter, Woody Harrelson (The Hunger Games) and Laura Dern (The Fault in Our Stars) are in talks to star in Fox Searchlight’s graphic novel adaptation Wilson.
Based on the comic book by Daniel Clowes (Ghost Town), Wilson tells the story of “a middle-aged misanthrope (Harrrelson) who seeks out his ex-wife (Dern), a scarred drug abuser, after the death of his father. When he learns of a teenaged daughter, born after his divorce, he tries to force them all to join him in his last gasping stab at a family.”
Wilson has been scriped by Clowes himself, with Craig Johnson (The Skeleton Twins) set to direct. Production is slated to get underway next month.
