John Travolta signs on for Gummy Bear and A Three Dog Life

February 10, 2014 by admin

John Travolta has signed on to play “Gummy Bear,” the Internet viral sensation that was big in 2012. Since its release, the Gummy Bear brand has generated 3.6 billion downloads, so naturally evidently, this is a big deal in Hollywood. The film will be written by Bad Boys scribe George Gallo and sees Gummy and his friends – a vegetarian vampire bat, a cat and a chameleon – fighting to save an alien planet from destruction.

In further Travolta casting news, he has also signed on to the drama A Three Dog Life, based on the best selling memoir by Abigail Thomas. Starring alongside Salma Hayek, Travolta will appear as a husband whose brain is shattered following a car accident. Subject to hallucinations, rage and terror, he is forced to live in an insulated institution to control the side effects of his near death accident.
