American Gods season 2 begins production

May 2, 2018 by Gary Collinson

After changing up its showrunners following the departure of Bryan Fuller and Michael Green, Starz has now announced that filming is underway on the second season of its Neil Gaiman adaptation American Gods.

“The first season was all about getting to the House on the Rock,” says EP Gaiman, who is serving as executive producer and showrunner on season two with Jesse Alexander. “It’s amazing to see everyone back, and to be entering the next stage of the story with the best bunch of actors around, along with some inspired filmmakers.”

Gaiman also shared a first look image on Twitter featuring himself alongside the cast…

Me? What am I doing? Oh, just hanging out with gods and mortals at the House on the Rock. Why, yes, that is the Biggest Carousel in the World. Nothing special. (YES, IT WAS AMAZING. YES, IT WAS AS AMAZING AS YOU WOULD THINK.) @GodsOnAmazon @AmericanGodsSTZ pic.twitter.com/BhLEPLTp7d
