Metal Max Xeno coming to PS4 in the west this September

June 5, 2018 by Andrew Newton

NIS America have announced they will b bringing the next entry in the Metal Max series, Metal Max Xeno, to Playstation 4 gamers in North America and Europe this September.  This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Metal Max franchise so what better way to celebrate than for it to be enjoyed across the world.  Metal Max Xeno will arrive in North America on the 25th September and in Europe on 28th September.  Want to see what it’s all about? Then watch the trailer we have for you below…

Set in the far future Metal Max Xeno takes players to a post apocalyptic world where humanity is on the very brink of extinction thanks to the actions of a sentient computer called NOA.  In its efforts to eradicate humanity NOA has managed to reduce Asia’s largest metropolis, Tokio, to rubble and kill many of those who called the place home.  Players will take the role of Talis as he seeks to gain allies in a bid to take the war back to the machines.

Metal Max Xeno features:

  • A barren wasteland awaits intrepid explorers, salvage new tanks and upgrade them using over hundreds of parts.
  • Customise the new tanks with a new paint job and the strongest firepower you can find.
  • Unite remaining survivors to fight against the crazed machines and deadly mutants.
  • NOA’s robotic forces will hunt you down wherever you are so make a preemptive strike from within your tank or disembark and explore on foot with your allies.

Metal Max Xeno will arrive on the PS4 at the end of September in North America and Europe.
