New update for Where the Water Tastes Like Wine adds 15 new tales

June 6, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Depression era narrative adventure game, Where the Water Tastes Like Wine, has received the Tall Tales update, a brand new free update that will add 15 new stories to discover.  Also, the game is currently on sale with a 30% discount but be quick as the sale only has 10 hours to go.

In the Tall Tales update players will discover 15 new vignettes scattered throughout the game world that range from the disgusting to absolutely hilarious.  These 15 new tales written by new writers will join the many stories already in the game and will all be voiced by Keythe Farley.  Other notable voice talents in the game include Dave Fennoy (The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series), Cissy Jones (Firewatch), Melissa Hutchison (The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series) and even Sting.

As well as the new tales, developer Dim Bulb have also fixed a few bugs and added an autowalk mode which can be accessed by pressing the F key on keyboard, or the right bumper on controller.

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is a wistfully imaginative trek through a century of American folklore and history. Encounter enigmatic characters as you explore the countryside, experiencing and collecting their deeply personal tales along the way. This surreal odyssey into the heart of America’s past features gorgeous illustration from Kellan Jett and Serenity Forge, blending dramatic 2D visuals with a 3D overworld map of the nation.
