Inhumans’ Serinda Swan to star in Coroner

June 20, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Following the cancellation of Marvel’s Inhumans, actress Serinda Swan has now signed on for a new drama series, with Deadline reporting that she is set for the lead role in the new CBC show Coroner.

The series is based on M.R. Hall’s bestselling book series and will see Swan portraying Jenny Cooper, “a brave, determined yet vulnerable coroner driven by an intense desire for the truth. A former ER doctor and recently widowed mother, the passing of her beloved husband has unlocked a primal connection to death, tied to a secret in her past that is only now coming to the surface. She loves her son more than life itself and strives to support him while also trying to take care of herself.”
