Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Anthony Michael Hall is to follow in the footsteps of his Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club co-star Molly Ringwald by heading to Riverdale for a guest appearance in The CW’s Archie Comics inspired series.
Hall will guest star in ‘The Midnight Club’, an 80s-set flashback episode which will see the young cast portraying their parents as high schools at Riverdale High under Hall#s Principal Featherhead.
To promote the episode, The CW has released the following promo image, which features real high school yearbook photos of its adult cast, including the likes of Luke Perry, Madchen Amick, Mark Consuelos and Molly Ringwald; check it out here…

Riverdale is set to return to The CW for its third season on October 10th.
