New trailer for Death Stranding revealed at TGS 2018

September 25, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Sony and Hideo Kojima have unveiled a new trailer for their Playstation exclusive title Death Stranding at the Tokyo Games Show.  This new trailer reveals a brand new character, an adversary for Norman Reedus’ character, voiced by Troy Baker who played Joel in the excellent 2013 hit game The Last of Us and Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite.  You can watch this trailer below…

In the latest trailer, this new antagonist uses his golden mask to summon strange ethereal forces to create a huge monster before vanishing into thin air.  Baker’s villain seems to be toying with Reedus’ character,  it all seems like he’s playing a game although obviously wanting him dead in the process.  It’s probably safe to say that this newly revealed antagonist will be one, if not the main, baddy to grace the game.

Despite the new brilliant looking trailer we are still left wondering what is going on.  Plus, considering the game isn’t set to be released for a fair old time, we can expect even more cryptic trailers to come and hopefully one of those will give us the answers we so desperately need.

Death Stranding is a Playstation exclusive title expected to reach consoles some time in 2019.
