Rian Johnson’s Knives Out adds Ana de Armas and Don Johnson

October 20, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson is gearing up to begin production on his next film Knives Out in November, and we have word on two new additions to the cast of the murder-mystery in Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049) and Don Johnson (Miami Vice).

Plot details on Knives Out are being kept tightly under wraps, but the film is described as a “contemporary version of the locked door mansion murder mystery” told in the classic Agatha Christie whodunit style.

De Armas and Johnson joins a cast that so far includes Daniel Craig (Spectre), Chris Evans (Avengers: Infinity War), Michael Shannon (Waco) and Lakeith Stanfield (Sorry to Bother You). In addition to directing, Johnson has also written the script and will produce the movie with his regular partner Ram Bergman.
