Stranger Things’ David Harbour joins Chris Hemsworth in Dhaka

November 17, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

Last week, Chris Hemsworth shared some first look behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the kidnap thriller Dhaka, and now comes word from THR that Stranger Things star David Harbour has signed on to appear alongside Hemsworth in the cast.

Dhaka sees Hemsworth portraying Tyler Rake, a skilled mercenary with a death wish who is tasked with rescuing a kidnapped Indian boy being held by drug lords in Dhaka, one of the world’s most impenetrable cities. Harbour is set to portray a fellow mercenary “with secret intentions”.

The film marks the directorial debut of Sam Hargrave, second unit director and stunt coordinator on Avengers: Infinity War and Chris Evans’ Captain America stunt double. Avengers directors Anthony and Joe Russo are producing, with the latter also writing the script.
