We’re coming to the end of another year but what better way to tackle the dawning of 2019 than with four great games courtesy of Games with Gold. Gold subscribers will get to start 2019 with platforming fun, adventure, racing and first person shooting.
Xbox One Gold subscribers can welcome the new year in with Celeste from indie developer Matt Makes Games. In this platformer players will need to help Madeline reach the towering peak of Celeste mountain and avoid the various deadly obstacles that will line her route. Celeste will be available for the whole of January.
Also for Xbox One subscribers is WRC 6 from Bigben Interactive. Available from 16th January to 15th February, WRC 6 features all the licensed cars and rallies from the World Rally Championship 2016 season.
For the Xbox 360 (and backwards compatible with Xbox One), comes Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. This adventure puts players in the role of either Lara Croft or a 2000 year-old Mayan warrior named Totec in a bid to stop an evil ancient spirit.
For the second half of January for Xbox 360 is Ubisoft’s open world FPS Far Cry 2. This sequel to the acclaimed Far Cry sees players take the role of a mercenary in order to stop a violent arms dealer causing more chaos during a civil war in a central African nation.
