Bad Boys for Life casts its villain and Mike Lowrey’s old flame

December 24, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Sony Pictures has found its villain for the upcoming Bad Boys for Life, with Deadline reporting that Jacob Scipio (Hunter Killer) has signed on to play Armando Armas, the cold-blooded head of a drug cartel targeted by the Miami Police Department and its elite AMMO strike team.

Along with Scipio, the film has also added actress Paola Nunez (The Son) in a “significant role” as Rite, “the tough and funny criminal psychologist who is the newly appointed head of AMMO and Mike’s former girlfriend- and the one who got away.”

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are set to reprise their roles as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, while Joe Pantoliano is also on board to return as Captain Howard alongside new additions Vanessa Hudgens (The Princess Switch), Alexander Ludwig (Vikings) and Charles Melton (Riverdale).
