Nintendo announced today that they have slated a 7-minute Nintendo Direct for Wednesday, February 27th. It will take place at 2pm GMT/9am ET.
Coming only two weeks after the previous Direct, this one will be much more truncated and focus entirely on the Pokémon franchise. Coming right in the middle of Pokémon Day 2019 (a celebration of the original launch of Pokémon in 1996), the heavy speculation is that this will be the full announcement of the 8th generation of Pokémon games, which have already been slated for a release on the Nintendo Switch in late 2019.
