World of Warships: Legends now on console early access

It’s time for all budding ship captains to hoist anchor as Wargaming announce the release of their naval combat MMO World of Warships: Legends on console early access.  Xbox One and Playstation 4 gamers will be able to take to the seas aboard some of the most powerful vessels for free.

This epic naval combat game is Wargaming’s second foray into epic combat MMOs on console with its first title, World of Tanks: Mercenaries gaining huge success with over 18 million players since launch.

World of Warships: Legends is not a straightforward port from the PC version, it has been built from the ground up to take advantage of the capabilities of today’s consoles and will provide gamers with a fully revamped user interface, intuitive new controls, faster combat and exclusive content. Plus there’s more planned content on the horizon, including more nations and more ships.

Players will be able to choose to set sail in a variety of ships from several nations including Great Britain, Japan, USA, France and USSR,  these vessels will either be Cruisers, Destroyers and Battleships and will come in varying tiers of power and ability.

A range of different environments from Arctic oceans to tropical seas will be available to fight over and map sizes will range from 18×18 km for lower tier battles to 24×24 km for upper tier.

We hope players will enjoy embarking on this new voyage with us!”

World of Warships: Legends is available to download now for Xbox One and Playstation 4.
