Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Frozen) has signed on to appear in Warner Bros.’ upcoming big screen take on the 70s cop series CHiPs, which is being written, directed and produced by her husband Dax Shepard.

CHiPs will star Shepard as Officer Jon Baker, with Michael Pena (Ant-Man) starring as his partner Frank ‘Ponch’ Poncherello. Also set to feature in the cast are Adam Brody (The O.C.), Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil) and Rosa Salazar (Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials).
