Interactive murder mystery The Black Widow launching next month

July 26, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Developer Flux has announced the interactive murder mystery game, The Black Widow, will launch on 1st August for PC via Steam, iOS and Android. You can watch the trailer here…

The Black Widow allows players to investigate the case of Australia’s first female serial killer, Louisa Collins, reenacted from original court records and letters. You must listen to Louisa as she speaks from the grave and use an onscreen spirit board to establish lines of inquiry. This format is intended to challenge you on your own prejudices and reconsider the overall verdict of this case.

The key features of The Black Widow include:

  • Communicate with a convicted killer.
  • Ask questions using topics via an onscreen spirit board.
  • Delve into a complex and dramatic true crime murder mystery.
  • Immerse yourself in a faithful, dramatic recreation of a Victorian Era court case.
  • Enjoy vivid graphics and an unnerving, atmospheric interface.

Players can purchase The Black Widow on 1st August via Steam ($5.99), iOS ($1.99) and Android ($1.99). Will you be picking this game up on release day? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @FMyth_Gaming…
