Jon Favreau had more fun filming Spider-Man: Far From Home than any other movie

August 23, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Jon Favreau, one of the stars of Spider-Man: Far From Home, says he had more fun acting in the film than in any other movie he has been in.

With all the drama surrounding Spider-Man’s apparent exit from the MCU, it feels like a long time ago that Tom Holland and co were on our screens for Spider-Man: Far From Home. Jon Favreau returned for the picture as Happy Hogan and it sounds like he had a ball doing so.

Speaking about acting in other people’s movies as opposed to directing his own features, Favreau told the Hollywood Reporter: “Oh sure, I love doing that. And I learn because I get to be on other peoples’ sets. When I get to see the Russo brothers direct, it’s great. When I get to be on Jon Watts’ set for Spider-Man, I had more fun in his last Spider-Man than in any movie role I can remember.”

Who knows if we will get to see Favreau appear in another Spider-Man movie. At this point, it seems unlikely given that the rights to the character belong to Marvel Studios. At least we will always have Far From Home to enjoy if it is Spidey’s last dance in the MCU.

Spider-Man: Far From Home features the return of Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Zendaya (Michelle), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Angourie Rice (Betty Brant), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), Martin Star (Mr. Harrington), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), with Jake Gyllenhaal (Prisoners) as Mysterio.
