Angel alum Christian Kane joins the final season of Supernatural

October 2, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Angel alum Christian Kane is reportedly joining the cast as a guest-star on the fifteenth and final season of Supernatural.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Kane will play Leo Webb, a former hunter and a friend of Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). Kane is well-known for playing Lindsey McDonald on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff show Angel, although his other credits include roles in Dawson’s Creek, Leverage, The Librarians, and S.W.A.T.

There are currently no details on which episode(s) Kane will appear in or how big his role is – although the use of the terms “former hunter” and “friend of Dean Winchester” without the mention of Sam (Jared Padalecki) could mean Webb knows Dean from the old hunting days with his dad, John Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), before Dean showed up in Sam’s bedroom.

They’ve come out on top with the help of allies, both human and supernatural, but every victory comes at a price.

Supernatural’s final season premieres on The CW on October 10th.
