Having been spotted on set this weekend posing for a photo alongside a crew member, Mark Hamill has taken to Twitter to confirm that he’ll be reprising the role of The Trickster in the second season of the hit DC show The Flash.
Although he’s since deleted his tweet, Hamill stated that: “Supposed to keep my return to @CW_TheFlash secret but never refuse a selfie request Does ‘oops’ count as an excuse?”
Hamill, who is also returning as Luke Skywalker in December’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, reprised the role of James Jesse, a.k.a. The Trickster, in the first season of The Flash, having originally portrayed the villain in the 1990s TV series.
