Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island receiving 4K Ultra HD release for 10th anniversary

Martin Scorsese’s 2010 psychological horror film, Shutter Island, is set to receive a 4k Ultra HD release with a Limited Collector’s Edition Steelbook on 11th February 2020 – just in time for the 10th anniversary.

Shutter Island follows Edward “Teddy” Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) who is investigating a psychiatric hospital on Shutter Island after one of the patients mysteriously goes missing.

The film also stars Mark Ruffalo (Avengers: Endgame) who plays DiCaprio’s partner Chuck, Ben Kingsley (Iron Man 3) who plays the facility’s lead psychiatrist, Max von Sydow (Game of Thrones) who plays a German doctor, and Michelle Williams (Venom) who plays Daniels’s wife.

The 4K Ultra HD release will include the featurettes “Behind the Shutters” and “Into the Lighthouse.”
