Zombie side-scrolling adventure Dead or School arrives on Nintendo Switch and PS4

March 14, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Marvelous Europe and Studio Nanafushi’s fast-paced, zombie slaying adventure Dead or School is now available for western gamers on Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch gamers.  This side-scrolling adventure will take players on an epic adventure against undead hordes in a zombie infested, post-apocalyptic Tokyo.

Dead or School takes players to a post-apocalyptic Tokyo where the hordes of undead walk the streets while the remnants of humanity hide underground.  When young Hisako is handed an old school uniform and told stories of attending school with friends by her grandmother, she is inspired to fight back against the undead hordes.  Hisako will travel across Tokyo, visiting locations including Shinjuku, Asakusa, Roppongi and ‘Electric Town’ itself, Akihabara, in a quest to make sure the dead stay dead so she can experience a normal life and go to school.

Wearing her grandmother’s old school uniform Hisako will travel from location to location via the old underground system and use both close and ranged combat skills to kill the zeds. Hisako’s skills can be upgraded as she travels and new weapons can be discovered, making her the ultimate zombie killing machine.

Featuring:

  • Fast-paced 2.5D adventure through the ruins of Tokyo.
  • Hordes of different zombies and huge bosses to put down.
  • Attack with both close range and ranged attacks and create deadly combinations of the two styles.
  • Upgrade and customise Hisako’s abilities using money and experience gained through combat.
  • Enjoy cinematic cut-scenes with Japanese voice-overs.

Dead or School is available now on Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4.
