Jessica Alba to headline Netflix action thriller Trigger Warning

May 18, 2020 by Matt Rodgers

If 6 Underground, Triple Frontier, Spenser Confidential and Extraction are anything to go by, it’s clear that Netflix loves using its mountains of cash to make action movies, and now they’re adding another to that growing section of the navigation menu by announcing a brand new action-thriller to be headlined by Jessica Alba.

Variety reports that Trigger Warning will star Alba as a traumatised woman who inherits her grandfather’s bar, and is faced by a moral dilemma when she discovers the truth behind his untimely death.

Executive produced by the Sin City actress, Trigger Warning will be helmed by Marlina the Murderer in Four Acts (read our ★★★★ review here) director Mouly Suryu, working from a script by Josh Olson and John Brancato.

Alba can currently be seen alongside Gabrielle Union in the Bad Boys spin-off show LA’s Finest.
