A few days ago it was announced that Sony is looking to relaunch its Girl with a Dragon Tattoo series by adapting the fourth book in the series, The Girl in the Spider’s Web, albeit without director David Fincher and stars Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig.

According to The Wrap, the studio has now identified Alicia Vikander to take over the role of hacker Lisbeth Salander, although it’s unclear if any talks have taken place.
