Chernobyl leads winners of BAFTA’s 2020 British Academy Television Awards

The winners of the 2020 British Academy Television Awards were presented virtually last night, with Sky and HBO’s acclaimed limited series Chernobyl picking up the awards for Best Mini-Series and Best Actor (Jared Harris) to add to the seven BAFTA TV Craft Awards it picked up earlier in the month.

Other big winners included The End Of The F***Ing World (Best Drama Series and Best Supporting Actress for Naomi Ackie) and Stath Lets Flats (Best Scripted Comedy and Best Male Comedy Performance for Jamie Demetriou), as well as The Left Behind (Best Single Drama), When They See Us (Best International Production) and Emmerdale (Best Soap).
