Predator 4 script is complete

December 1, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Originally published December 1, 2015. Updated April 15, 2018.

Back in June of 2014, it was announced that Iron Man 3 director Shane Black was working on a sequel to Predator (a movie he actually appeared as the character of Hawkins), and now the project has taken a step closer to becoming a reality with screenwriter Fred Dekker (The Monster Squad) confirming that the screenplay has been turned in to 20th Century Fox.

Little is known about their plans for the latest instalment of the sci-fi action franchise, although Black has previously stated that he was looking to create an “inventive sequel” that would “expand and explore the existing Predator mythology rather than hitting the restart button.”

Predator was released in 1987 and was followed by the 1990 sequel Predator 2 and the 2010 reboot Predators, along with the two crossover spinoss AVP: Alien vs. Predator and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem in 2004 and 2007 respectively.
