The Sandman: Neil Gaiman clarifies which graphic novels the first season will cover

June 10, 2021 by Liam Waddington

With production now officially underway on Netflix’s series adaptation of The Sandman, creator Neil Gaiman has clarified how much of the comic series will be covered in the first season.

Responding to a fan on Twitter who asked how much of the comics would be spoiled by the show, Gaiman responded: “The first season covers the first two graphic novels.” Those two novels, Preludes and Nocturnes and The Doll’s House, cover the first sixteen issues of the 75 issues original series.
