Belfast and Boiling Point lead nominations for 2021 British Independent Film Awards

The nominations for the 2021 British Independent Film Awards have been announced, with Kenneth Branagh’s semi-autobiographical coming of age story Belfast and the Stephen Graham-headlined single-take drama Boiling Point leading the field with 11 nominations in total.

Boiling Point finds itself contesting the top award, Best British Independent Film, alongside After Love, Ali & Ava, The Nest and The Souvenir Part II, with both After Love and The Souvenir Part II adding a further eight nominations to tie with Censor on nine in total.
