Neil Patrick Harris has NES nostalgia in trailer for festive comedy 8-Bit Christmas

Warner Bros. has released a poster and trailer for 8-Bit Christmas, the upcoming festive comedy from director Michael Dowse, which follows 10 year old Jake on his quest to get his hands on a Nintendo Entertainment System for Christmas in late 1980s Chicago; check them out here…

Set in suburban Chicago in the late 1980s, the story centers on ten-year-old Jake Doyle’s herculean quest to get the latest and greatest video game system for Christmas.

The film stars Neil Patrick Harris and Winslow Fegley as the adult and young Jake alongside June Diane Raphael, David Cross, and Steve Zahn.

8-Bit Christmas arrives on HBO Max on November 24th in the US.
