Dark secrets abound for Josh Gad and Isla Fisher in the trailer for Wolf Like Me

January 4, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

From the Producers of Nine Perfect Strangers and Big Little Lies, Peacock will be hoping that Wolf Like Me, their original horror-comedy from Abe Forsythe, the director behind Lupita Nyong’o zombie gem Little Monsters, will provide them with a smash hit water-cooler drama like those TV blockbusters.

Starring Josh Gad and Isla Fisher, Wolf Like Me tells the story of Gary, a man who’s trying to cope with being a single father following the unexpected death of his wife. Literally crashing into his life comes Mary, and a romance is sparked between the two; however, she appears to be hiding a dark secret, which by the looks of the brand new trailer that you can watch in the player below, Gary might be on the verge of discovering….

Everyone brings their own set of baggage to a new relationship. Gary (Josh Gad) and Mary (Isla Fisher) are no different. Gary is an emotional wreck and struggles to provide for his daughter since the death of his wife. Mary has a secret she can’t bring herself to share with anyone. The universe brought these two together for a reason, they just need to keep following the signs.

Wolf Like Me streams on Peacock from January 13th.
