The Book of Boba Fett may have come to a close [read our review of the finale here], but we’ll be heading back to the sands of Tatooine very soon as Disney and Lucasfilm have confirmed that Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi is set to premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, May 25th.

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi sees Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Hayden Christensen (Darth Vader) joined in the cast by the returning Joel Edgerton (Owen Lars) and Bonnie Piesse (Beru Lars), as well as Star Wars newcomers Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, Maya Erskine, and Benny Safdie.
Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere on Disney+ on May 25th.
