LEGO Avatar theme launches with Toruk Makto & Tree of Souls set this September

It’s a big year for James Cameron’s Avatar franchise; not only do we have the long-awaited first sequel in Avatar: The Way of Water, but we’ve also got a brand new LEGO Avatar theme from The LEGO Group, and you can now check out the official promotional images and details for the first set, Toruk Makto & Tree of Souls (75574), which is available to pre-order now ahead of its release on October 1st, priced at $149.99/£129.99; take a look here…

 

Help a kid aged 12+ who loves science fiction animal trends with this LEGO Avatar Toruk Makto & Tree of Souls (75574) building toy set. The set includes Jake Sully, Neytiri, Mo’at and Tsu’Tey Na’vi minifigures, a posable Toruk figure with foil wings, Direhorse figure and a buildable Tree of Souls, plus 3 environment builds with glow-in-the-dark elements.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.

Avatar: The Way of Water is directed by James Cameron and sees Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Matt Gerald, Dileep Rao, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, and Sigourney Weaver all reprising their roles from the 2009 blockbuster, while new additions to the cast include Kate Winslet, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Filip Geljo, Jamie Flatters, Bailey Bass, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Duane Evans Jr., Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Keston John, and CJ Jones.

Avatar: The Way of Water is set for release on December 16th.
