Hasbro and Avalon Hill have announced that The Frozen Horror, the latest expansion for the classic fantasy board game HeroQuest, is now available to pre-order ahead of a release this winter.
The Frozen Horror includes 21 new sculpted miniatures, including a female Barbarian and 12 mercenaries to join the heroes, while Zargon’s forces add two polar warbears, two yetis, three ice gremlins, and the massive Frozen Horror itself.

Revisit and delve deeper into the rich story of the HeroQuest dungeon crawling adventure game. With the Frozen Horror expansion, players must destroy the evil Frozen Horror, a ferocious creature long banished, but has now returned to its ancient seat of power, and awaits Zargon’s summons. The powerful Barbarian must survive dangerous solo quests and only then will fellow heroes join him.
