Along with the news that The Wheel of Time has already been renewed for a third season, Amazon Studios has now released a featurette for the second season of the fantasy series, which teases new locations and more epic battles as the ensemble cast travel across the world in their fight against the Dark One.
The series focuses on a small group of young adults who are rescued by Moiraine, a powerful member of the mysterious Aes Sedai, after their village is attacked by evil forces. Moiraine believes one of them to be the Dragon Reborn, a powerful individual who is prophesied to either save the world or destroy it as he or she combats the Dark One and his armies from conquering the world.

The Wheel of Time stars Rosamund Pike as Moiraine, Daniel Henney as Lan Mandragoran, Zoë Robins as Nynaeve al’Meara, Madeleine Madden as Egwene al’Vere, Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor and Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara. As yet, there’s no word on a premiere date for season 2.
