Trailer for Searching sequel Missing starring Storm Reid

November 17, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Sony Pictures has released a trailer for the upcoming mystery thriller Missing, the standalone sequel to 2018’s Searching.

Directed by Nick Johnson and Will Merrick, the film stars Storm Reid as June, a young woman on a desperate search for her mother who disappeared on vacation in Columbia, but during her investigation she uncovers secrets which reveal she never really knew her mother at all.

Check out the trailer below…

When her mother (Nia Long) disappears while on vacation in Colombia with her new boyfriend, June’s (Storm Reid) search for answers is hindered by international red tape. Stuck thousands of miles away in Los Angeles, June creatively uses all the latest technology at her fingertips to try and find her before it’s too late. But as she digs deeper, her digital sleuthing raises more questions than answers…and when June unravels secrets about her mom, she discovers that she never really knew her at all.

Missing stars Storm Reid, Joaquim de Almeida, Ken Leung, Amy Landecker, Daniel Henney, and Nia Long.

Missing arrives in cinemas on January 20th in the US, and on February 24th in the UK.
