Nintendo and Illumination drop new poster for The Super Mario Bros Movie ahead of today’s trailer launch

November 29, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

Ahead of the second trailer, Nintendo and Illumination have released a brand new, and really rather impressive teaser poster for The Super Mario Bros Movie.

Depicting the throne room for the perennially abducted Princess Peach, who will be voiced by The Menu‘s Anya Taylor-Joy, the poster includes a stain-glass window of the aforementioned ruler of The Mushroom Kingdom, and surprise surprise, her seat is empty.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (Teen Titans Go! To the Movies) and written by Matthew Fogel (Minions: The Rise of Gru).

The Super Mario Bros. Movie bounces of mushrooms and into cinemas on April 7th, 2023.
