Brandon Cronenberg puts Alexander Skarsgård and Mia Goth through the wringer in Infinity Pool teaser

January 2, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

Put the festive season firmly in the rear view mirror with this brand new look at writer-director Brandon Cronenberg’s (Possessor) latest, the NC-17 rated Infinity Pool.

The sci-fi horror focuses on couple James and Em (Alexander Skarsgard and Cleopatra Coleman) as they enjoy their perfect vacation on an isolated island, that is until the mysterious Gabi (2022’s horror icon Mia Goth) leads them outside the resort, where they discover a perverse subculture of hedonistic tourism, reckless violence and surreal horrors which asks them to “find out what kind of a creature you really are”. Check out the teaser below…

While staying at an isolated island resort, James (Alexander Skarsgård) and Em (Cleopatra Coleman) are enjoying a perfect vacation of pristine beaches, exceptional staff, and soaking up the sun. But guided by the seductive and mysterious Gabi (Mia Goth), they venture outside the resort grounds and find themselves in a culture filled with violence, hedonism, and untold horror. A tragic accident leaves them facing a zero tolerance policy for crime: either you’ll be executed, or, if you’re rich enough to afford it, you can watch yourself die instead.

Infinity Pool arrives in cinemas on January 27th.
